BELOVED

Beloved, do not be discouraged
If the road ahead seems rough,
But put your trust in God to make it smooth.
And do not be downhearted
When worries cloud your mind,
For God is there to comfort and to soothe.

As you travel your life's journey,
Burdened with a load of doubt and fear,
Just give them to the Lord and let them go.
For He is there beside you,
To calm your troubled heart
If you open up your heart and let Him know.

When your enemies attack you,
As you seek to do God's will
He is your mighty fortress and your shield.
He's waiting there to help you,
If you'll just tell Him of your needs
And if your heart and soul to Him you yield.

He's always there to catch you
If you stumble or you fall,
And He'll carry you and keep you safe from harm.
And in times of pain and sickness,
Just pour out your heart to Him<
And He will minister to you His healing balm.

If your heart is filled with sorrow,
And you don't know where to turn,
Read out to Him and let Him take control.
And if you're feeling lonely,
And that something's missing in your life,
He'll fill your empty heart and make you whole.

So, reach out right now to Jesus,
He's waiting just for you,
Because He wants to be your Saviour and your friend.
If you confess to Him your sin,
And ask Him to forgive,
Into your heart His Spirit He will send.

Yes, give your life to Jesus<
And bow before His throne,
And lift your voice and praises to Him sing,
For when you do you will discover
A joy beyond compare
As you proclaim He is your mighty Lord and King.

One day soon He will return
To call us to His side,
And I really do believe that time is nigh<
So beloved, please don't tarry,
But call out to Him right now,
For He's preparing for you a mansion in the sky.

No-one knows when He is coming,
But He told us to be prepared,
And to open up your eyes and not be blind.
And beloved, I assure you,
My desire is to do His will,
For I don't want to be the one He leaves behind.
