BUT
NOW I'VE BEEN SET FREE
In
days long past I walked alone…
I was blind; I could not see.
Sin and death still had me bound,
But now I've been set free.
In
days gone by I struggled on
Through a life of drudgery,
And my life was filled with fear and doubt,
But now I've been set free.
Before
I knew the love of God
I lead a life of slavery.
My life was one of dark despair,
But now I've been set free.
Before
I knew why Jesus came,
And that He died for you and me,
My life was filled with tears and pain,
But now I've been set free.
Then
I heard He rose again
To prepare a place for me.
He sits at God's right hand on high
And now, praise God, I'm free.
