This poem came to me one day when I was really feeling down.  The words the Lord placed upon my heart at that time really lifted my spirits, and I hope they do the same for you.

COME, BLESSED LORD, I NEED YOU NOW

Come, blessed Lord, I need You now…
I need to feel Your love.
I need to know You're with me
In this world of push and shove.

As I march on into battle,
And the nights are dark and long,
I need You right beside me,
And Your joy to make me strong.

Oh Lord, my God, I need You now,
To be my strength and guide…
I need to feel your loving arms,
And Your Spirit deep inside.

 "I'm here, My child, take courage,
I will never let your fall –
Just call out when you need Me…
I'll hear your every call.

So keep your eyes fixed on me,
And offer up your praise,
For My love is never-ending…
I'll be with you all your days."
