Do you ever think about the depth of God's love for us?  Do you ever think to yourself "How can He love me?  I'm not worth it."?  I know I do.

God doesn't, though.  God loves us despite the fact that we are worthless sinners.  That is why He sent His Son to die on the cross in our place.
Oh, what an amazing love that is!  It is beyond our comprehension that God would sacrifice His only Son for us, but He did, even though we don't deserve it.  So I ask you now to think about just what the Father's love means to you and reach out to Him.  He is waiting for you. 

DO YOU KNOW THE FATHER'S LOVE?

Do you know the Father's love
The same way that I do?
Do you know He sent His only Son
To die for me and you?

Do you know that Jesus rose again
To sit at His Father's Side,
And that He will soon return to earth
To claim His people as His Bride?

Do you know that He will carry you
When you feel you can't go on,
And that He can fill your heart with peace
When you feel so woebegone?

Do you call on Him in times of need,
And when your load's too much to bear?
Or do you struggle on, all alone,
And think life is so unfair?

Have you given your whole life to Him,
Or just a little part?
Have you asked His Holy Spirit
To come and dwell within your heart?

Do you know that you can call on Him
In times of fear and doubt?
And do you know that He will answer?
He will never shut you out!

I pray you'll come to know His love,
His mercy and His grace,
For His arms are reaching out right now
To enfold you in His embrace.

So lift your eyes toward heaven
And ask Him to forgive,
And He'll walk beside you every day
For as long as you shall live.
