Do You Wonder What Is Happening?

As I look around me every day, I see things happening in the world that fill me with despair. I often wonder what is going on and why so many of God's people are compromising the Word of God and allowing things to happen in their churches which are called an abomination in God's Word. The words to this poem came to me one day when I was pondering upon this fact, and my heart was filled with peace as I realised that, no matter what the evidence says to the contrary,
GOD IS IN CONTROL!

DO YOU WONDER WHAT IS HAPPENING

Do you wonder what is happening
To this world in which we live –
A world that's full of hatred,
With no one willing to forgive?

Do you wake up every morning
And see a world filled with despair?
Do you see lost and lonely people
Who won't let you show you care?

Do you wonder why God's people
Are being so easily deceived
By the wolves dressed in sheep's clothing
Speaking lies that are believed.?

Well don't give up, my brothers,
And sisters, don't you yield.
Just keep on reaching out to them
With the Word of God as your shield.

God's given you a mission
To feed the hungry and the lost,
So minister His love to them
and do not count the cost.

No, do not be downhearted,
Be not worried, nor dismayed,
For God is in complete control
And there's no need to feel afraid.
