Don't Let Me Be Deceived

We live in very troubled times, and there are many people who profess that they come in the name of the Lord, but they are really wolves in sheep's clothing. We must be ever vigilant to be aware of who these people are, because the Lord said in His Word, that even the elect, if possible, would be deceived. So I urge you, study the Word, and let no man deceive you. Trust only in the Lord.

DON'T LET ME BE DECEIVED

Oh Father, don't let me be deceived
By the false doctrines men are teaching,
For the results they have are deadly
And throughout the world are reaching.

Oh Father, let me use Your Word
As my one and only guide,
And Father may Your Spirit
Be constantly by my side.

May He teach me the truth You have for me
And the things You'd have me know,
So I can reach out to the world
And Your love and mercy show.

I pray, Lord, that the words I speak
Will be acceptable to You –
That Your love and peace will flow through me
As Your will alone I do.

Oh Lord, I need Your guidance
To teach me of Your ways,
And Lord please give me eyes to see
Your desire for me always

I only want to please You, Lord,
And Your desire for me fulfil;
Mould me, make me, take me Lord,
To do with as You will.

To be with You is my desire,
To be with You and You alone,
And when I die I'll worship You
Forever before Your throne.

So I give my life to You right now,
I give it all, not just a part,
For I know how much You love me, Lord –
So will You take my heart?
