I constantly wonder why so many people refuse to acknowledge God despite all the evidence we see around us every day that proves His existence, and I pray that the Lord will open their eyes to the truth. However, even more important is the fact that so many Christians (myself included, I must admit) don't always realise the full power of His amazing grace and that everything He has promised for us is FREE. There is no charge. All we have to do is accept the gift of His perfect grace and move on, knowing that He is with us always.

HOW MUCH LONGER WILL IT BE?

Oh Lord, how much longer will it be
Before all Your children know, like me,
That all our riches are in Thee,
And not in the earthly things we see?

When will they realise that You
Are all that is faithful, just and true,
And in times of despair You'll see them through,
If Your will for them they would pursue?

Why can't they see they need not fear,
For You are always standing near –
Their every cry for help You'll hear
And You will wipe away each tear?

Can't they see how very much You care,
And their every sorrow You will share –
Your boundless love is beyond compare,
And that You will answer every prayer?

But if we stumble we will not fall,
For You will heed our every call,
And though we feel so weak and small,
In You we can stand so strong and tall.

So, Lord, please open up their eyes,
So that one and all will realise
That one day soon they, too, may rise
To dwell with You, our greatest prize!
