I LONG TO SING YOUR PRAISES, LORD

I want to worship You, my Lord,
Every moment of the day:
In each and every thing I do
And every word I say.

I want to be Your vessel, Lord,
As I go forth in Your name,
And may
what others see in me
Your mercy and grace proclaim.

I want to minister Your peace, my Lord,
To every wounded heart,
And with every word I write or speak
Your perfect peace impart.

I want to be with You, my Lord,
When my earthly work is done,
And know that when I die, dear Lord
My life will have really just begun.

So take my heart and change it, Lord,
So Your will is all I do,
And every one I meet, my Lord,
Sees not me, but only You.

Wash me clean and white as snow,
And prepare me as Your bride,
So when my life on earth is through,
I know I'll be standing at Your side.

Yes, I long to sing Your praises, Lord,
With the angels round Your throne,
So I give my life right now, my Lord,
To You, and You alone.
