I WANT TO BE YOUR INSTRUMENT

I want to be Your instrument, Lord,
Finely tuned to do Your will,
So please fill me with Your Spirit now,
And Your desires for me fulfil.

I want to be Your servant, too,
Helping all who live in fear.
Please show me what You would have me do
To reassure them You are near.

May I minister Your love and peace,
In my every thought and deed,
And may everything I do or say
Encourage those who are in need.

As I walk out into the world each day,
May my life bring glory to Your Name,
For ever since You found me, Lord,
My life has never been the same.

So, Lord, as I give my life to You,
Please touch this hardened heart of stone,
So songs of praise flow from my lips,
And forever I worship You alone.
