Whenever I hear the name "Jesus" it brings so many thoughts into my mind. It makes me think about where I would be without Him; it makes me think about the sacrifice He made for me, of which I was so unworthy; but most of all, it causes me to pause to think about the awe with which I consider that name - awe that brings me to my knees in worship, because at the name of Jesus, every knee SHOULD bow.

J - E - S - U - S

J is for my Jesus,
The one and only Son of God,
Who came to set God's people free,
As upon the earth He trod.

E is for my Emmanuel,
Who lives within my heart,
For He is always with me,
And he never will depart.

S is for the sacrifice
He made that blessed day –
On Himself He took my burdens,
And He washed my sins away.

U is for His unfailing love,
Which will never, ever end.
He loves me, He accepts me,
And on Him I can depend.

S is for my Saviour,
The solid rock on which I stand,
For I know that when I need Him,
He is there to take my hand.

Yes, JESUS is the one I love,
The Lord of lords and King of kings,
So give your life to Him right now,
And feel the joy His presence brings.
