JESUS IS BESIDE ME

It doesn't matter where I go,
Or what I do each day,
I know Jesus is beside me
And He guides me all the way.

He's there in times of trouble,
To cast out every fear,
And He's there in times of sorrow,
To wipe away each tear.

Whenever I'm feeling empty,
If I let Him take control,
With rivers of living water
He'll quench my thirsty soul.

He is my fortress in times of need –
A strong tower where I can hide –
He'll keep me safe from all my foes
As in His presence I abide.

I know that when I stumble,
And feel so weak and small,
His mercy lifts me up again,
For He will not let me fall.

His joy will always be my strength,
And His Word will be my sword,
And as I kneel before His throne,
Love and peace are my reward.
