Lord,
how can i ever thank you?
Lord, how can I ever thank You
For what You've done for me?
For though You didn't have to do it,
You chose to die to set me free.

You made Your promise to the world,
Long before the first stars shone,
That Your covenant was everlasting
And Your Word could be relied upon.

When Your blood flowed from Your pierced side
On the Cross that blessed day,
It poured out like a rushing stream
And washed my sin and guilt away.

I don't know why You love me;
I only know You do,
For in Your Word You said it,
And I know Your Word is true.

You sent Your Spirit to be with me,
To be my comforter and my guide,
And You promised He would never leave,
But would be always by my side.

So, Lord, I give my heart to You
And offer my sacrifice of praise,
And I pray that You will stay with me,
For now and all my days.
