M-A-J-E-S-T-Y

Whenever I think about the Lord, I am overcome by the power and majesty of His name, and I cannot help but declare the wonder that fills my heart. It brings me to my knees in awe, it fills my heart to overflowing with the wonder of His love, and I feel so small and insignificant that I constantly wonder how He could have given His life for one such as I. But He did, and words are not enough to express the gratitude which fills my heart when I consider all He has done for me.

M - A - J - E - S - T - Y

"M" is for our Mighty God,
Our Creator, Lord and King,
And whenever I think about Him,
It causes my heart to sing.

"A" is for the awe I feel when
I consider what He's done for me,
For He sent His precious Son to die
And shed His blood at Calvary.

"J" is for my Lord Jesus,
My saviour and my friend.
He guides me and protects me,
And His love for me will never end.

"E" is for the empty tomb
From which my Jesus rose again –
But He's coming back to claim His bride,
Although we do not know just when.

"S" is for the Holy Spirit
Who Jesus sent to dwell in me –
He is my guide and comforter
And helps me the truth to always see.

"T" is for the treasure
Which awaits me in Heaven above –
Yes, Jesus has stored it there for me
As a token of His love.

"Y" is for the constant yearning
I have deep within my soul,
That each day will bring me closer to Him
Until He has complete control.

Yes, Jesus reigns in Majesty
On His throne in Heaven above,
And I humbly bow my knees in awe
At the power of His love.
