My Joy Will Never End

Throughout our daily lives we must all endure times of sickness and pain, times of doubt and fear, and times of weakness and sorrow. However, the Lord has placed in the hearts of those who have chosen to follow Him something that will overcome all these trials and tribulations - His joy. This joy is in the depths of our heart, and it fills us with peace and enables us to endure everything the world would throw at us to try and bring us down. So, don't give up, my friends. Reach out to the Lord, and ask Him to replenish the joy He has promised to give you in your time of need.

MY JOY WILL NEVER END

Lord Jesus, You're my all in all,
And Your face is all I seek.
As I come before Your Holy Throne,
I feel so humble, small and weak.

When I think of all You did for me
That day upon the Cross,
The things of the world all pass away,
And I count them all but loss.

For You died so I could be set free
From worry, fear and strife…
When You rose again death lost its sting –
I now have eternal life.

Your blood was shed to wash me clean
From every spot and stain –
I no longer feel any guilt or shame;
Only peace and joy remain.

By the jagged stripes upon Your back,
Every sickness and pain were healed.
Living water flowed from Your pierced side –
The love of God was there revealed.

When You ascended to the Father's side,
You sent Your Spirit to be my friend,
So now He lives within my heart,
And my joy will never end.
