Oh Lord, You Are My Life!

Every day I thank the Lord for being there in my time of need and for upholding me throughout my times of trial. If it weren't for His love and faithfulness I would not be able to bear the things that the enemy sends against me to try to make me give up and turn my back on the Lord. However, I could never do that, because Jesus truly is my whole life - without Him I am nothing. I daily cry out to Him "Come, Lord Jesus, come!", because that is the blessed hope I have in my heart. He is coming to claim His Bride and take me home to be with Him forever, and I believe that time is not far away. So, if you haven't yet given your life to the Lord and asked Him to forgive your sin, please do so now. I know you will not regret it, because He will never forsake you.

OH LORD, YOU ARE MY LIFE

Oh Lord, You are my life
My Salvation and my King,
You set my feet upon the rock,
And You cause my heart to sing.

Whenever I think about You
And what You have done for me,
I am filled with wonder and with awe,
And I humbly bow my knee.

Your fire goes before me
To guide me along my way,
And Your Word is a lamp unto my feet
o from Your paths I will not stray.

You hold me safe within Your arms
When I'm filled with doubt and fear,
And when I'm sad and need a friend,
I know that You're always near.

I know I do not deserve Your love,
And Your sacrifice I can never repay,
Still I know that You will not let me fall,
And by my side You will always stay.

My treasure is not found on earth,
But is stored with You on high,
And some day soon You will take me home
To my mansion in the sky.

I don't know when that day will be,
But I'll keep looking to the sky,
For You promised us that You will come,
And I know You cannot lie.
