P R A I S E

P R A I S E

"P" is for the pain Jesus bore
Upon the Cross at Calvary.
Oh, what a costly price was paid
When He died to set me free.

"R" is for our Risen King,
Who has defeated death and sin.
For He rose up from the cold dark tomb
So my new life could begin.

"A" is for His amazing grace,
A gift from God above.
For He sent His Son to die for me
As a sacrifice of love.

"I" is for the infinite peace
I now have within my heart,
For I know that He is with me now
And from my side will not depart.

"S" is for the strength I have
As I go forth in His name,
For since I asked Him to forgive
My life has never been the same.

"E" is for the eternal life
He has promised to His own,
And forever I will dwell with Him
And worship before His throne.

Yes, I will ever sing His praise,
On earth and in heaven above,
For eternity is not long enough
To thank Him for His love.
