Please, Take My Life

PLEASE, TAKE MY LIFE

Please, take my life and let it be,
Consecrated, dear Lord, to Thee.
And as I seek Your will for me each day,
Please guide my steps, my Lord, I pray.

As I face my foes and make a stand,
Help me be strong and take my hand.
Please fill my heart with love and peace
So all fears, doubts and sorrows cease.

May every word I speak each day,
Encourage someone on their way;
May they sow a seed in someone's heart,
So on their road to You they make a start.

Please open my eyes to help me see,
The truth in Your Word that will set me free.
As I walk with You, be my guiding light,
And keep me safe in the dark of night.

And when my life on earth is through,
May I spend eternity with You,
Standing before You on Your throne,
Forevermore to worship You alone.
