How often do we stop and think about the name 'Jesus' and what it means to us as Christians. To me it is the answer to all my problems. He truly is the King of kings, the Lord of lords, and He fills us all with His mercy and grace and the power of His love and forgiveness. Because of this name, we can defeat all our foes, and we can call to our Father God in Heaven and He will answer us, all because of this beautiful name - JESUS.

THERE IS A NAME

There is a name that means so much…
To me it's more than life.
It tells me that I've been set free
From worry, fear and strife.

It tells me I need have no doubt
That my Father God loves me;
That's why He sent His only Son
To die on the cross to set me free.

When I hear that name I realise
That death no longer has a sting;
It tells me I now have eternal life,
And it causes my heart to sing.

At its sound I feel such sweet release,
My spirit soars just like a bird.
Then my heart is filled with joy and peace –
You see, it's more than just a word.

That name to me means perfect love;
It will set the captives free.
When I speak it out every knee must bow,
And my enemies must flee.

On my lips it tastes just like honey;
For there really is no sweeter sound.
You see, that name is Jesus,
And in Him God's love is found.
