This poem is for the people who are lost, lonely, frightened, suffering and in pain, and who do not know the Lord Jesus as their Saviour and their Friend.  I want to tell you that I know just how you feel.  I was in the same place as you are before the Lord found me and drew me to His side.  He wants to be your friend, and He wants to be the one you turn to in your hour of need.  All you have to do is repent of all the past sin in your life and ask the Lord to take you in His arms and show you the way He wants you to go.  In His arms you will find a refuge from the storms that are raging all around you.  He is waiting for you, but you have to make the first move.  So, please, reach out to Him right now and give your life to Him.

THERE IS AN ANSWER

Do you feel that no-one loves you?
Are you filled with doubt and fear?
When you cry out in the darkness,
Do you think no-one will hear?

Are you lonely; are you frightened?
Is there nowhere you can turn?
Are you tired?  Are you weary?
Does your soul for acceptance yearn?

Well, my friend, there is an answer;
There's a place that you can go.
Let Jesus take you by the hand,
For He's reaching out, you know.

If you say to Him, "Lord, please forgive",
He'll set you free from sin.
So just reach out to Him right now,
And simply say, "Lord, please come in".

As you do, you'll find Him waiting there,
And you'll feel such sweet release.
For He'll take you in His loving arms,
And your joy will never cease.

He knows your needs; He hears your cry;
He will banish fear and doubt.
He'll fill your heart with love and peace…
He will never shut you out.

So reach out to the Lord today,
For His promises are true.
His love is never-ending,
And He's waiting – just for you.
