WHILST YOU STRUGGLE THROUGH THE WILDERNESS
Whilst you struggle
through the wilderness,
Your hearts filled with despair and fear,
Please, don't give up, my children –
You can be assured I'm always
near.

When the road ahead is rocky,
And you can't see the end in sight,
Just reach your hands out to me,
And I'll be your guiding light.

If your burdens are too heavy
As you travel along life's road,
Just lift your arms up to me,
And let me bear the load.

If your heart is filled with sorrow,
And your body's racked with pain,
Just remember why I died for you,
And let me make you whole again.

When you enemies come against you,
And surround you like a throng,
In me you can find shelter,
Beneath my wings, where you belong.

You can trust me, my dear children,
For I am your Saviour and your King,
So give your lives to me right now,
And feel the peace only I can bring.

I died that you might be set free
From worry, pain and strife,
But then I rose up from the grave,
So you could have eternal life.

Yes, I am always here for you,
If you'd just let me take control.
So, please give me every part of you,
Your whole body, mind and soul.
