Why Can't The People See

When I look around me at the situations that exist in the world today, I am amazed that people are still so blind to the truth of God's Word and what our blessed Father in Heaven has done for His people here on earth. Everything that is happening convinces me more and more that the time is nigh for the Lord to come again to claim His Bride and take us to Heaven to be with Him for all eternity. I pray constantly that people will finally wake up and realise just what the Lord has sacrificed for them and that they will reach out to Him in repentance and ask Him to forgive them and give their lives to Him. So, if you have not already done so, please do this right now, because time is running out.

WHY CAN'T THE PEOPLE SEE?

When I think of how, my God,
Despite all Your mighty deeds,
The world turns its back on You,
And thinks only of its needs,
My heart cries out in pain,
"Oh, why can't the people see
That for them You sent Your Son
To die upon the tree?"

For through Him You've given us
The keys to heaven's door,
And we now have eternal life
And will live forevermore.
For He died to set us free
From our sorrow and our pain,
And now we can feel secure,
And need never fear again.

When He rose up from the grave,
Death lost its painful sting,
And now He reigns with You,
And the host of heaven sing.
Now His Spirit dwells in us,
For You sent Him from above,
And forever we will sing
Of the power of Your love.

So why, oh why, my Lord,
Do the people turn away?
Can't they see how much You care –
That their ransom He did pay.
Your amazing sacrifice of love
Was for each and every one,
So God, please help them see,
Why You sent Your only Son.
