So many times I find myself in tears, fearful because of the things that are going on around me, and I am sure that I am not the only one.  But why do we do this?  Hasn't the Lord promised that He will see us through every trial and tribulation, and that we have no need to fear?   So please, as I did, find encouragement in these words that the Lord gave me one day when I was wondering why things were the way they were in my life, and may the Lord fill you with His peace that passes all understanding.

WHY DO YOU WEEP?

Why do you weep, My little one,
Don't you know how much I care?
Don't you know that, if you'll let Me,
You're every burden I will bear?

For when you gave your life to Me
You set me free to move –
To show you what you mean to Me,
And My love for you to prove.

And when you put Me in control,
And you gave your heart to Me,
The refining process I began
To remove all impurity.

I will put a new heart in its place –
One of the purest gold –
And I will fill it with My love,
And not one gift will I withhold.

I know it sometimes hurts, My child,
When the useless wood I prune away,
But the results will all be worth it, child,
If you'll just let Me have My way.

For you will grow from strength to strength,
As you abide within the Vine,
And you will bear the sweetest fruit,
And My light from you will shine.

So count it all joy, My chosen one,
As your faith for Me is tried,
For one day soon I will return
To claim My spotless bride.
