You Are My Refuge

YOU ARE MY REFUGE

Oh Lord, You are my refuge…
My shelter from the storm;
And in my time of trouble,
You are my harbour, safe and warm.

I know that I can run to You,
And that You will hear my call.
You will reach out with Your loving arms –
You will never let me fall.

Oh Lord, You know I stumble…
That there are times of fear and doubt;
But I can stand upon the promise
That You will never shut me out.

For that's why You sent Jesus –
When He died the veil was torn.
By His stripes You healed my sickness,
And all my sorrows He has borne.

When He rose He won the battle
And the victory was complete…
So I have no need to worry
As I lay my life at Your feet.
