YOU ARE MY SHEPHERD
Oh, Lord, You are my Shepherd,
And I have all that I need,
For You have promised to provide
All my desires, but not my
greed.

You lead me to green pastures,
Lord,
Where I can safely rest…
And as I wait upon You, my Lord,
By Your presence I am blest.

You lead me to still waters,
Lord,
And You restore my thirsty soul
–
As I come and drink of You, my
Lord,
You will touch me… make me
whole.

As I walk the paths of
righteousness,
Your Spirit will be my guide –
He'll teach me all Your ways, my
Lord,
As He walks right by my side.

When the shadow of death is all
around,
I'm not afraid, but full of
cheer,
For Your rod and staff, they
comfort me,
And I know that You are near.

You've prepared a table for me,
Lord,
In the presence of my foes,
And You've given me the shield
of faith,
To ward off all their blows.

You've anointed me with oil, my
Lord…
You sent Your Spirit like a dove
–
Now my heart is filled with joy
and peace,
And an abundance of Your love.

Your grace and mercy are with
me, Lord,
Both now, and all my life,
And forever I will dwell with
You,
Free from worry, pain and
strife.
