I
often wonder about the depth of God's love for me. I know I am not worthy
of His love, but in His Word He tells me that He loves me with an everlasting
love. I know His Word is true, and I know He cannot lie, so therefore, He
must love me. But just how much does He love me? These words came to
me one day when I was having a really bad day and needed encouragement to go
on. I hope they encourage you the same way they did me.
DO
YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU?
You
know I am the Gardener,
And that Jesus is the Vine,
And you know My Spirit fills you
With good fruit and with new wine.
You
know that I sent Jesus,
And that He died to set you free –
That He broke the power of sin and death,
And that He won the victory.
You
know I sent My Spirit,
To
guide you all your days –
To comfort and protect you,
And to teach you of My ways.
You
know the path is narrow,
And you know the way's not smooth –
And you
know that I am with you,
To comfort and to soothe.
But
do you know how much I love you,
And how much I really care?
That in My arms I will enfold you,
And forever keep you there.
